In winter, artisanal fishermen play a leading role during the “tainha” harvest –a delicacy of the local cuisine–. “Tainha” fishing is a centuries-old tradition of indigenous origin. This activity that is considered a manifestation of history and culture, takes place a few meters from the hotel between the months of May and July. The experience is even more complete by tasting the fresh fish in the local restaurants of Lagoinha.
